INTENT

This school in Utre comes from really observing how the village lives and grows. We studied the patterns of houses, streets, and the way spaces are used every day, and let that guide our design. Instead of a rigid building, the school follows the natural contours, creating levels where children can sit, play, and learn in different ways. We imagined it as a public place, not just a school—somewhere the community feels welcome. Like village homes that open into the street, the design softens boundaries, allowing spaces to flow into each other, making the school feel familiar, open, and connected to everyday life.
